Research Governance requirements

As a world leader of eye, ear, nose and throat research and teaching, we are committed to conducting our research honestly and accurately and at the highest professional standards. Research Governance is a framework that ensures accountability for the scientific quality, ethical acceptability and safety of research conducted by and at the Hospital.

Within the hospital, research is governed by the Research Policy which requires all research to conform to good practice and ethical expectations, to ensure that it is conducted and disseminated honestly, accurately and in accordance with the highest professional standards.

The Eye and Ear is a Victorian public hospital and is required to conduct research in compliance with various regulatory requirements
