Our quality data

This is a small snapshot of how our hospital performed during 2015-16 against a number of quality measures. Our statistics for 2016-17 will be released in late 2017. 

  • There were no reported cases of staphylococcus aureus, sometimes called golden staph (a common cause of  mild to severe infections).
  • There were no reported incidents relating to transfusions of blood or blood products.
  • There were no reported pressure injuries during inpatient admissions
  • There were 12 patients who unfortunately fell within the hospital, with 10 patients reporting no significant harm.
  • Hand hygiene and staff flu vaccinations targets were met and in excess of 100 consumers were recruited to our register to assist with safety and quality improvement activities
