Our quality data

This is a small snapshot of how our hospital performed during 2018-19 against a number of quality measures. 

  • There were no reported cases of staphylococcus aureus, sometimes called golden staph (a common cause of  mild to severe infections).
  • There were no reported incidents relating to transfusions of blood or blood products.
  • There were two reported pressure injuries during inpatient admissions, of which related to pre-existing conditions
  • There were 25 patients who unfortunately fell within the hospital, with 23 patients reporting no significant harm.
  • Hand hygiene and staff flu vaccinations targets were met and 30 consumers were recruited to our register to assist with safety and quality improvement activities
