Patients
At the Eye and Ear, we help nearly 250,000 patients every year. We are the largest eye and ear hospital in Australia and perform most of Victoria’s specialist eye surgery and all of the State’s public cochlear implants.
Our patients range from children to the elderly, with a vast spectrum of eye, ear, nose and throat complaints. We are there for them in an emergency, for elective surgery and with our outpatient clinics in East Melbourne and throughout the State.
When patients visit they don’t always know what to expect. To make life easier we have created information sheets on coming in to Emergency, for surgery or attending our outpatients clinics.
To use a TTY Phone dial 133 677. For an Auslan translator when you visit call 03 9929 8636.
