Thanks to the Elizabeth and Alexander Reddan Memorial Foundation

In February, Trustees from the Reddan Foundation visited the hospital for a tour of our Emergency Department with Carmel Crock, Ramil Tranquilino and Kristen Wells to see their donations in action.  The foundation contributed to the purchase of the retinal laser in ED which provides us with an excellent system for the diagnosis and treatment of retinal disease including detached retinas – a common presentation at ED. The Foundation also assisted in the purchase of a teaching scope so there can be two people viewing the laser treatment simultaneously.

The Reddan Foundation managed by Nicholas O'Donohue and Co Lawyers has been giving money to the Eye and Ear since 2014. Their support has totalled nearly $50,000.  Malcolm Campbell, Trustee and Legal Executive, Marja Barouh were thrilled to be shown the inner workings  of Emergency with our expert tour guides.
