Staff Excellence Awards and Annual General Meeting
Last night the 2018 Excellence Awards and Annual General Meeting were held at the Park Hyatt hotel. Over 80 staff and guests were in attendance to celebrate and reflect on our many achievements from the past year and to recognise outstanding members of staff. Associate Professor Anne Brooks was the MC for the night and keynote speaker Dr Peter van Wijngaarden provided a summary of his groundbreaking research using eye scanning techniques to detect the early signs of Alzheimer's disease.
In a crowd that was a mix of staff, volunteers, family and friends there was visible pride amongst the award winners, many of whom referenced teamwork as the key to their success at the Eye and Ear.
Congratulations to the night's winners for displaying a true expression of the Eye and Ear's values of Integrity, Care, Teamwork and Excellence.
