Planned works on Albert and Lansdowne St

As part of Towards Zero, Vic Roads and TAC Victoria are creating a safer cycling pathway at the Albert street and Lansdowne intersection in East Melbourne. 

The protected intersection will make it safer and easier for people riding between the CBD and Melbourne’s inner north, and reduce the stress associated with cycling through a busy city intersection. 

Work on the intersection has begun and will continue until mid-March 2020. Crews will be working daily on both Albert and Lansdowne Streets, between 7am and 3:30pm. There will be some parking lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h through worksites.
