Open House

Tours of the Eye and Ear hospital proved incredibly popular during our Community Street Party event in April and for those of you missed out, we are giving you another chance to get a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of the Eye and Ear.

The hospital will be hosting staff-led tours on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July, 10am to 3.30pm as part of Open House Melbourne 2013, when a number of Melbourne's historic buildings open their doors to the public.

In celebration of 150 years serving the community, the Eye and Ear will be providing Victorians with a rare glimpse into the underground tunnel linking the Eye and Ear with St Vincent's Hospital, built during the late 1970s and completed in 1983.

Tours will run every 30 minutes minutes, starting at Lucy Jones Hall 426 Albert Street, East Melbourne. Please note, we will not be accepting bookings for this event and tour places will be assigned on strictly first-come first-served basis.
