Community Board Meeting and Closing Event

October 1, 2013

The second Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital Community Board Meeting follows the success of the first meeting in November last year and represents a opportunity for members of the community to be involved in matters affecting the hospital. The Committee liaises with the hospital's Board on community participation in service delivery and development and forms an integral part of our planning and strategic growth.

This board meeting will also mark the end of our 150th anniversary celebrations, as we look back at the hospital's rich history within the Victorian community and reflect on the commemorative events of the past 12 months.

This is an exciting time for the Eye and Ear, as we not only mark a century and a half caring for our community but look forward to a comprehensive redevelopment of our facilities, so that we may better serve Victorians well into the future.

To mark the end of this exciting year for the hospital and in addition to the standard agenda, Head of General Eye Clinic, Associate Professor Anne Brooks will present on excellence in training.

We would love for you to join us in wrapping up our 150th year.

Where: Lucy Jones Hall, 426 Albert Street East Melbourne
When: 6pm, November 19 2013 - please note this date has changed since the beginning of the year (previously November 12)
