Public Lecture- Excellence in Teaching and Training with Professor Anne Brooks

November 1, 2013

As Australia’s only standalone specialist eye and ear hospital, the Eye and Ear plays a significant national and international role in teaching and training.

Our fellowships and registrar placements are highly sought after. Associate Professor Anne Brooks is the Head of General Eye Clinic 3 at the hospital, Chair of the Senior Medical Staff and has an outstanding reputation and record for providing excellent patient care. This lecture is an opportunity to hear from an extremely well regarded ophthalmologist on “Excellence in Teaching and Training”.

The lecture will form part of our Annual Community Board Meeting, which will also mark the end of our 150th anniversary celebrations. As we look back at the hospital's rich history within the Victorian community and reflect on the commemorative events of the past 12 months, we will also learn more about the hospital’s redevelopment and strategic plan.

When: Tuesday 19 November 2013
Where:
The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, 426 Albert Street, East Melbourne
Time: 6pm start. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP: rsvp@eyeandear.org.au
