Community Board Meeting and final public lecture for 2013

September 9, 2013

The second Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital Community Board Meeting will be held on 19 November. The meeting is open to all members of the public and provides an opportunity for the community to be involved in matters affecting the hospital.

This key event will also incorporate the fifth and final lecture in our 150th Anniversary Public Lecture Series, with Associate Professor Anne Brooks, Head of General Eye Clinic, to present on excellence in training.

Our Community Board Meeting and final public lecture mark the end of our 150th anniversary celebrations, as we look back at the hospital's rich history within the Victorian community and reflect on the commemorative events of the past 12 months.

This is an exciting time for the Eye and Ear, as we not only mark one-and-a-half centuries of caring for our community but look forward to a comprehensive redevelopment of our facilities so that we may better serve Victorians well into the future.

We would love for you to join us in wrapping up our 150th year.
