Eye and ENT Emergency Training Seminar

Please note that placements for the workshop are now full.  We are only taking details for waiting list expressions.

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital is again offering an Eye and ENT Emergency Seminar for ACEM Trainees and Fellows and ASEM members. The seminar will run over 2 days on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th September 2019. In addition, there will be an optional Fellowship practice examination on Eye / ENT emergencies for pre fellowship trainees.

The Seminar will offer the opportunity for participants to draw upon the expertise of our colleagues in Ophthalmology and ENT surgery as their specialties relate to our practice of Emergency Medicine.

Thursday - Eye Emergency Day Topics will include – Ophthalmic History Taking, Corneal Emergencies, Eye Trauma and Sudden Loss of Vision and:

Friday - ENT Emergency Day Topics will include – The ENT Examination, Otological Emergencies, Epistaxis, Airway Emergencies and Faciomaxillary Trauma.

Participants may register for either or both days. The number of places at both days is limited to 45 in order to allow for the practical demonstration of the use of a slit lamp involving clinical cases and ENT practical workshop. Places will be filled as each registration and payment is received.

Payment Details:
A tax invoice will be forwarded to you once your registration has been received and confirmed. Payment is due within 14 days to confirm your place. Placement is not finalised until payment is processed at which time you will be notified via email.
