Eye and ENT Emergency Education 2020

Please note the 2020 April and June practical sessions and the 2 day September seminar have been cancelled due to the  COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope to provide educational events again in 2021.

Practical Eye and ENT Skills (advanced small group workshops)

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital’s practical Eye and ENT Skills workshops are held twice per year (usually in March and June).  Registrations for the events usually open in mid January each year.  They are aimed towards FACEMs and Advanced Emergency Trainees and offer small group practical ENT and Eye sessions for Emergency Physicians wishing to fine tune or refresh their skills.  The number of places are limited to 12.

Annual 2 Day Eye and ENT Emergency Seminar

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital’s two day Eye and ENT Emergency Seminar is an annual event, occurring in September each year (usually 1st Thursday/Friday).  Registrations for the event usually open in mid May each year.  The seminar offers the opportunity for participants to draw upon the expertise of our colleagues in Ophthalmology and ENT surgery as their specialties relate to our practice of Emergency Medicine. The number of places are limited to 45.
