Junior Medical Staff
Junior Medical Staff work alongside world-renowned leaders in the fields of Ophthalmology and ENT. Remuneration and conditions of service are in accordance with the current Doctors in Training Enterprise Agreement 2018 -2021.
International Medical Graduates
Junior Medical Staff require eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia which advises two ways to become registered:
- Competent Authority Pathway
- Standard Pathway (AMC Examination)
Both pathways required English Language Skills Registration Standard.
Nursing
Our nursing team is dedicated to patient centred care, passionate and committed to making a difference to the lives of our patients. The Eye and Ear offers nurses special on the job training and career development opportunities.
Allied Health Careers
Along with our medical and nursing staff, the Eye and Ear employs a large number of allied health professionals from a variety of disciplines. Each allied health discipline is at the forefront of evidenced based practice and treatment. Some of the allied health specialities include Audiology, Social Work, Speech Pathology and more.
Corporate and Support Roles
Supporting the frontline health professionals is a team of non-clinical administration and management staff. Based here at the hospital, these staff ensure the Eye and Ear has the systems and processes in place to deliver health services to our patients. Some of the areas and disciplines include Finance, Marketing and Communications, Human Resources, Engineering and Facilities Management.
