Our Environmental Approach

In accordance with the Department of Health Policy and Funding Guidelines 2012-13 all Victorian Public Health Services are required to publicly report and disclose on their environmental performance.

There are four environmental impacts that are required to be reported:

  • Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions from energy consumption
  • Energy use
  • Water use
  • Waste generation

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital endorses the Environmental Management Plan 2015-18, and the hospital is committed to the environmental improvement targets contained within the report.
