Our Disability Liaison Officer assists people with disability, their families, and carers to access services at the Eye and Ear and our other health services.

Currently, this role has a strong focus on making sure that you can access the COVID-19 vaccine.

Disability Liaison Officer services:

Supports people with disability to access COVID-19 assessment and treatment
Supports people with disability to access the health and community services they require
Provides disability-specific advice and support to the hospital
Provides support to patients with disability to access treatment within the Eye and Ear
Identifies and reduces barriers to health service accessibility for people with disability

Need a COVID-19 test?

If you have COVID-19 symptoms and cannot leave home due to disability, or the need to care for others, then you can get tested at home. To access the Call-to-Test service, call the Victorian COVID-19 hotline on 1800 675 398 and select option 9. Find more information about the Call to Test service in Easy English.
