Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC)It is a requirement of the National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) that all medical or scientific research done on humans must be reviewed and approved by a properly constituted ethics committee. All research involving humans should conform to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (NHMRC; 2007).
