Public lecture series

The Eye and Ear has a long history of providing innovative learning pathways to generations of eye, ear, nose and throat specialists. Since the hospital first began instructing medical students from The University of Melbourne back in 1882, we have remained dedicated to providing the highest standard of patient care through our teaching and research initiatives.

To mark our 150th anniversary and honour the many decades of teaching and training provided by the hospital's innovative specialists, the Eye and Ear will host a series of public lectures during 2013.

Lectures will feature presentations from Eye and Ear staff members, as well as guest lectures from members of our research and clinical partner organisations and cover a variety of topical issues relating to ear and eye health, including the critical link between research and clinical care.

The series is scheduled to run from March through to August and all members of the public are welcome to attend.
