Cultural Diversity Week

Cultural Diversity Week is a Victorian initiative and is held between 15-21 March. Cultural Diversity Week celebrates our cultural, linguistic and religious diversity, while promoting respect and mutual understanding.

Harmony Day

Harmony Day is a national event managed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Harmony Day is held every year in March which coincides with Cultural Diversity Week and celebrates Australia’s success as a vibrant, cohesive and diverse nation.

The continuing key message of Harmony Day is Everyone Belongs. It's about community participation, inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

This year, the Eye and Ear Hospital plans to hold a 'Harmony Day - Come and See Tour' where local community groups have an opportunity to have a tour of the Hospital and learn more about our services.

The tour will take place on Tuesday 16 March 2010 at 10am.
